AN UPDATE - Jan. 2010: Our twin grandsons will be two years old on January 15th. They are beautiful and healthy. Life is never fixed, it is maintained. We thank God for the good and keep praying the rest of the real stuff. Stuff prayed over and committed to God. All things done through prayer and supplacation. Thank you Father! UPDATE: January 2010 - We are still in the process of praying for healing of the relationship of our Granddaughters - both for their father and ourselves. "Little by little" is often the way God uses to safely do the restoration of relationships and they take time and prayer. Giving God time to change hearts (from both sides of the fence) is the realistic view we all need. Prayer and time are a combination that creates miracles. Our part it to continue to love, continue to pray and allow healing from the inside out - it takes time, love, prayer and patience. Look how much patience God has used loving us and restoring us. He will do it for family relationships!!

Lovingly, Bob and Maisie

UPDATE: Bob and Carol Cheshire have relocated their ministry home and headquarters to Grants Pass,Oregon. These folks are contenders for the faith and on the firing lines using the word of the Lord to do His bidding. Read about them in the "What's New Menu". Your gifts to these folks will bring you into their harvest of souls.

Dear Maisie & Bob, Thank you folks for the recent offering... What a blessing you both are to us! And, Maisie, I want you to know your wonderful and anointed teaching emails are ministering to me and other women on this side of the world... Please keep them coming! Love you, Carol

Dear Family, Friends & Partners

Sending you our love and appreciation from our heart and from the heart of South Africa… So far the trip has been a wonderful success. The first two or three weeks were exceptionally busy, but we love every moment to be serving the Lord back here in South Africa. We were in revival tent meetings nightly in different black townships in poor rural areas of Mooinooi, Marakana & Soshanguvwe.

Since then, It has been awesome to see how the Lord has also opened up other new opportunities of ministry for us. These have been supernaturally arranged because you can instantly feel the bond and acceptance of the people. It has also been wonderful for us to see again so many of the people we have known throughout the years here.

We realized quite quickly that five weeks in the country was not enough time to do what we feel the Lord has called us to do here; therefore we postponed our departure date from early November and set it tentatively for early April. Here again, this is subject to change should the Lord direct us back home sometime before then… We want to be open to the Lord’s leading and we are confident He is doing so. God is meeting our needs, which staying longer has necessitated, through Laborers For Life. We are walking by faith and we continue to be humbled by His provision… As living out of a suitcase can get quite tiring, we were able to find a very comfortable and fully furnished two bedroom garden flat at the back of a private residence as our base at a very reasonable price and on a month-to-month basis which is practically unheard of at this point in time in this country. (Bless God!-- no lease!).

Of course staying longer also brings up some problems as you can well imagine… But we are so blessed to have wonderful people taking care of things in our absence. Isn’t God Good! We want to give our thanks and appreciate to our great neighbours, Kim & Nathan Delino, across the street who have readily agreed to look after our home for that long; Pastor Bryan, Pastor Bennie and others in the church who will look in on things as well; and to Ken & Sharon Hooper who takes care of our finances and other business & mail matters. Of course we also want to give our love, thanks & appreciation to all our wonderful and understanding family; and to each and everyone of you, our ministry partners, who make things like this possible with your love, encouragement, prayers and financial support!

Please know that we always keep you in our thoughts and prayers… We are going into rainy season here now and some of our very best times of Holy Ghost prayer has been late, late at night during severe rain & thunderstorms. We are 8-10 hours ahead of you time-wise… so, while you’re sleeping, someone’s praying.

We will keep you updated … We have just gotten a new phone number also shown below. Again, we thank you for your love, encouragement, prayers and financial support… We have two email addresses and on either one we would love to hear from you… So if you can, email us chop-chop and update us on what’s happening with you and your family and we will email you back.

The holidays are coming up quickly and we are missing you already. All for now,

All Our Love & In His Service,

Bob & Carol

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (I Corinthians 15)
