Love is a gift from God; it is a part of His nature, of who He is. As humans, we also are allowed to experience love, all kinds of love. We love the Lord Jesus differently than we love our children, we love our children differently than we love our mate, we love our parents differently that we love our friends. As we live this life, and time goes by, we have a relationship in all of these different kinds of love. Real God given love has a commitment that keeps on loving even in hard and lean times, times when things go wrong. The Lord gave us life and freedom of choice. Our heart of love is a free choice and gift. If the person you have fallen in love with does not feel the same, you would only lose him later. The first fiery love has to be both ways; otherwise, you would spend your life in a beggarly position of trying to please someone that did not equally love you. The Lord wants you to be loved and adored with great strength. He wants you to be "equally yoked" with the mate, He has for you. Equally yoked is often taken to mean "spiritually" - that is not true. Equally means in hygiene, energy, work ethics, family background, financially, educational, and yes the most important of all in addition to the above "spiritually." There is less to argue about when these equal, in common matters are in place. In addition, you should not be in a beggarly position pursuing him to love you. Lasting love is not like that, the desire comes from both hearts, equally and naturally. Trying to advance yourself on someone to love you is almost saying, "I am not allowing the Lord to bring the right person into my life, I have to make it happen." Remember what happened to Sarah and Abraham when they would not wait and trust for their child and took matters into their own hands - it has been trouble ever since. ANSWER GIVEN 7/09: Matthew 6:33 My Mother always told me when I called home for prayer (as a young married woman) that no matter what things looked like, no matter how fierce the battle, we are to seek the Lord and pray,and turn the battle over to Him. God has promised that He will make your enemies His enemies. And again He says "For the battle is not yours - but mine saith the Lord." So rather than focus and try to fight the enemy, turn your face to the Lord, lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Remember, if your enemies are now God's enemies, then the devil has placed himself in a fight against a mighty God who will war against him for you. Your job is to pray without measure, trust God and see His handywork. The season of warfare may not be measured in the amount of days you would want it to be, but in due season your prayers will be fulfilled - only faint not, trust the Lord and through PRAYER you will prevail and see many battles won in His name. It is an honor to stand in agreement with you and your husband for your finances and for the child you desire to conceive. The Lord does promise He will fill your barns to overflowing as you honor His word. Part of giving and having that we do not often hear about is "work and stewartship". I know many people that have abundance come into their home and they are not careful with how they spend their abundance. Even small things such as turning the lights off when you are not in the room is important. It shows you regard how hard your labor was to earn the money to have your utilities kept on. Eating out is the largest wastfulness some of God's people are excessive about. Moderation is the key, it show the Lord you can be trusted with the different categories of your money. Another thing after stewartship is increase through work. Sometimes Christians hear a teaching on give, give and send and you will be covered up with increase. That is not all of the story. God honors work. Most increase except for a special blessing, will come through work and stewartship. Some seasons will require extra work, second jobs and whatever it takes to keep your life and home going. Thank God those seasons do not last, but we should step up to the plate and be strong until the season passes. My husband drove from a small town to the west of Houston to Austin every day in order to keep our income flowing. He made good money and when the season ended he could hold his head up and kmow that God honored his work and endurance in the drive. I pray you two precious people will prosper financially and you will see the good right hand of the Lord over take you with your good heart's desires.

We do set our hearts in agreement with you for you to get work. It has been a while since you wrote, so I pray your job has already happened for you. All your problems have answers. Sometimes the Lord allows us to walk through problems, rather than take us out of them. We either get stronger for the walk through or we get stronger through the deliverance from them. All in all the Lord is our source of peace and strength. He will never fail you. He asks us in the Bible "Is there anything too hard for me, saith the Lord." I have found through all my travels through sorrows, problems, heartaches and so on that there is nothing too hard for the Lord. He tell us in his word, "call on me in your day of trouble, and I will answer you." Read your Bible more, pray during the day while you are driving or any place you can be alone - it will strengthen you and increase your joy. Let the Lord work out those things in your life as you walk trough them - each walk though will bring you to a level that is stronger and higher than the one you had before. That is how you learn to trust the Lord - you see his hand outstretched and how he takes care of you when you look back later. He asks the question: "Is my right hand shortened that I can not save?" We say no Lord it is not, your are able to exceedingly and abundantly above all that I could ever ask, hope or believe you for." ANSWER: The Lord tells us in His Word that He will never leave us or forsake us. There is no place we can go to escape His loving presence. He is your dearest Friend and is more than able to open doors. The Lord is not always interested is making sure things are "easy" because He is more concerned about developing character and strong faith in us.
